Twenty-Plus Years in the Patch
I started at Leam Drilling in Conroe, Texas. Moved through Archer and Cathedral — field work, remote ops, coordination, pulse and EM tools. I’ve managed crews, run operations centers, and trained more hands than I can count.
I think in systems. I spent two decades managing complex operations under pressure — coordinating crews, translating technical data into business outcomes, and keeping things running when everything is trying to break. If you’ve been in MWD any length of time you know the job isn’t just the tools downhole. It’s the data, the people, the communication chain, and the thousand things that can go wrong at 3am on a one-man site.
I’m looking for the next thing — remote coordination, ops management, north Houston area. If you’re hiring, let’s talk.
Building in Public
Rather than dust off a resume full of corporate speak generated by an AI which another AI is going to reject, I’m building the software this industry should have had a decade ago — and doing it in the open.
Follow along on the Build Log.
And if nobody comes calling… I’ll just build my way into a startup. There are worse problems to have.
